The Canadian Nurses Association Cybersecurity Incident
The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) has disclosed a cybersecurity incident, but will not confirm reports it was a ransomware attack. In an email to IT World Canada, Alexandre Bourassa, the association’s public affairs lead, wrote: “We can confirm having experienced an IT security incident on April 3, 2023 which impacted some of our systems. The incident did not impact our operations.”
Ransomware Group Involvement
Brett Callow, a British Columbia-based threat analyst, first reported that the Snatch ransomware group now lists CNA as a victim on May 22nd.
